Message	requested. I've posted the pics before, they look like Cap927's, but I took a different approach. I sanded the "Nissan" down first to the finish I wanted. Then I masked off the sanded part with tape, carefully cutting the tape with an Xacto blade (actually, my wife did that part). This allowed me to ensure that all of the lines would be straight. I figured that if I just sanded after paint, even with a flat surface beneath the sandpaper, there is a good chance that some of the lines would get blurred and look messy, or I might remove some of the black paint I didn't intend to and then have to go back and touch up. After the black paint was applied, I removed the masking tape and applied the clear coat.
